Lagggggg

This game was awesome up until 2 weeks ago. I noticed that there was a bit of a lag whenever I wanted to expand my territory or defend against enemy players. It was not bad at first, so I decided to ignore it. Now I cant get through a round of popping balloons without it taking 10 minutes. Please help. It is not my wifi or my LTE.
Update: This game has become unplayable. I am giving up until the devs fix this
