Bloons Monkey City App Reviews

This is a great game. And I dont mind the ads. But they said purchases remove the ads, so I bought the Monkey Farmer direct from the UI. It claimed you wouldnt need to manually collect the money being harvested. There are two problems here: 1) It didnt remove the ads. Going to their store you find out that some purchases dont remove the ads. 2) The farmer doesnt automatically collect for all farms in the city. Other than this deception, it is a fun game.

App crashes so that it never reaches level 100 even though it is possible. Highest level is 40 and then afterwards theres nothing much to do anymore. Needs much improvement.

Only issue I have with the game, when an enemy attacks your area, and you beat them, you dont get that land piece. Its the only thing that doesnt have me playing as much as I have. Find it pointless to defend my land if I cant win it the first time instead going back and doing it over again.

This game is fun and great, but some things annoy me... such as the "Farms Full" notification not working (iPad mini), and the fact that you have to be on for an hour or more to get some land for your buildings. Other than that, the other aspects of the game are amazing, and innovative, such as contested territory. Good job Ninja Kiwi! =)

I bought the ad free version, and I still get ads. I wont be changing to 5 stars until this is fixed.

You heard me right. A game-breaking glitch. I hadnt downloaded an update for this for a month or so, and then boom. I randomly get on and find that my progress has been completely reset and I have gone from level 23 to level 1! It reset all progress on my device for no reason and it said things about Game Center. It had never previously prompted me to sign in before, so why does it do so now that my progress is gone?

its an amazing game! Absolutely love it. But... I think I found a glitch and its totally pissing me off. When I tried to do online battles it forced me to upgrade to regen Bloons, so after a couple days I finally have it and now its forcing me to upgrade again. What do I do? Please fix this. I also noticed that if you watch an ad it stops the really cool music in battle. Any way, great game, really a must have!

I was playing the game when i beat a contested territory and then a new one came up and I pressed later, but then all of a sudden, I see a small city, which probably means all of save data got erased.

I remember the day when I got btd 5 for my iPhone. I loved it and had no problem paying $5 for the game. And as the years went on they started adding pay to win inside btd 5. I bought $2 worth of pay to win because it added cool effects to the towers. Because I have almost had every tower upgrade unlocked and I had all the medals for %80 of the maps I started to try the other btd game like city and battle. Very disappointed with how money hungry the became over these B rate games. Do something better with your time like play a instrument or something. And lets hope btd 6 will be like btd 5 when it first came out. But I know it wont.

I havent had a problem with the edit mode crashes. ( by the way I use it all the time.) The on problem Ive had is this morning the game started to lag and slow down when taking land or the contested territory. After awhile itll crash from that. Other then that no problems. I dont care wether there is a INP I just ignore it because I dont need it. I dont think there are a lot of ads, I think people are just over exaggerating.

Description: This game is awesome. Slow to build up, but fun. Problems: Ads. Now, normally, I have no problems with ads. But for this app its "oh hey you played one round NOW WATCH THIS AD" One ad every 3-10 rounds is not bothersome. I understand they need to make $. But I refuse to watch 1 ad after 1 game. Suggestions: Fewer ads, and for contested territory mix up the players every round.

Its a good game but i cant log into gamecenter or facebook, why do you have to login for visiting your friends?!

This game is similar to the computer version but 10x BETTER!!! And this is coming from a guy who loves computer games so good job Ninja Kiwi!

I love TD games, this one, its by far my favorite. You should definitely get it!

The game is pretty fun and balanced up until lev 23, After that there is a huge lack of usefull upgrades or things to spend gold on. I have an account at lev 32 that has 400k gold and nothing worthy to spend it on. Such a shame that the developers did not consider a nice end-game experience.

Ive been playing since the beginning of not only monkey city but the beginning of bloons TD games as a whole. While I always welcome a nice challenge, this game seems ridiculously hard. Its to the point of absurd. They basically have it rigged for you to spend your gems in large quantities on tracks or attacks that should NEVER be that tough. Im sick of getting to almost the final round then next thing you know there are at least 10 blue MOABS coming at once along with about 2 or 3 of those giant red MOABS and right along with them you have a steady stream of ceramics, regenerating camo rainbows etc. There is no way to prepare for such an attack on these super shortened tracks unless you spend a lot of your gem stones. I dont mind using 5 gems and on some occasions Ill use 10 and even then I get steamrolled into oblivion! Its downright stupid because I know how to strategize and use each towers strength in combination with other towers and theres just no way I should be losing so often & so easily. Put it this way, I have spent the time to upgrade all towers to level 4 which took forever but I have never had enough time on any track so far to even get one of my good towers to its 4th level while in an actual match. Its impossible. Hhhhhhhh so frustrated.

I noticed monkey city only had 12 ratings. This is a really fun and time consuming game. When I first downloaded it I spent 3+ hours a day on it. Now because each upgrade costs so much and is so long I dont play as much but when I do I love playing. Good twist off of BTD5. Makes you think resourceful when placing your towers and such.

Please make it that we can make clans in monkey city so we dont need Facebook to connect with people

There are so many IAPs and ads. I am constantly being pestered to buy stuff and guess what, IM NOT GOING TO! Also, the ads. Soooooooo frequent, every time I visit another city, capture a tile, or return from Contested Territory. Its absolutely outrageous and SCREAMS pay-to-win so loud it can be heard all over the world. Some IAPs say "Removes forced ads." I realize I can just do that, but why would I pay these people? (I have also heard that it doesnt actually remove them, cannot confirm) No. I would rather (and I think Im going to) pay for an ad-blocker, even if it costs more than an IAP that removes forced ads. Thats what you get for being greedy, Ninja Kiwi. I will not give higher than three stars until I see that it is no longer this way. Just another great game ruined by greed and pay-to-win...
